Congratulations to the crew of the Reichel/Pugh designed and McConaghy Boats built 100’ Canting Keel Super Maxi Wild Oats XI for taking Line Honors and breaking the course record she previously set in 2011. RP66 Alive claims overall IRC corrected honors!
Congratulations to the crew of Alive for claiming overall IRC victory. The Reichel/Pugh designed and Westerly Marine built 66’ Canting Keel Mini Maxi (formerly Black Jack & Stark Raving Mad) was declared the overall IRC winner in the 10th Anniversary Edition of the Club Marine Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race. Reichel/Pugh designs deliver proven performance longevity
RP100 Wild Oats XI, launched in 2005, has claimed eight line honor wins in the Sydney Hobart Race along with record setting trifecta (line honours, race record and overall handicap) wins in 2005 and 2012.
RP66 Alive, originally launched in the US in 2006, was acquired by Tasmanian businessman Phillip Turner from Peter Harburg early in 2014 and is the current holder of Rolex China Sea Race record.
